Overactive Media retains Diamond
Overactive Media Group of Toronto has hired Diamond, also based in Toronto, as its marketing agency of record. The firm will work to promote Overactive's participation in the Overwatch League, a competitive video gaming organization operated by Blizzard Entertainment. Overactive holds an ownership stake in the league's new Toronto franchise.

"They weren't just looking to build great creative, they had a visceral passion for the industry and the opportunity. They've already become an extension of our marketing team."
In related news, Overactive Media has signed a number of sponsors to support the launch of the team. Computer brand HP has signed-on as title sponsor in the name of its Omen line of gaming-focuses personal computers. Additional sponsors include beer brand Ace Hill, internet service provider TekSavvy and alcohol company Diageo.
