Etsy readies Made in Canada promotion

New York-based electronic commerce company Etsy will conduct Canadian promotion on Sept. 29 to coincide with five years of operation in this country. The national promotion, called "Made in Canada," will consist of temporary retail installations in 37 communities at which local Etsy users will sell their merchandise. The initiative includes a website at <http://www.etsy.com/madeincanada>.
"The success and growth of 'Made in Canada' over the past five years is a testament to the incredible community of makers here in Canada," said Erin Green, managing director of Etsy Canada. "Our mission at Etsy has always been to connect buyers and sellers, fostering the values that make Etsy so unique as a platform. I'm incredibly proud of the work that's gone into building this community and reaching this milestone."
