Canadian Soccer Business retains ThePostGame

Toronto-based Canadian Soccer Business has retained ThePostGame to act as the global sales representative for its media rights. The company will handle media sales for sports properties including the Canadian Premier League, the matches of the Canadian men's and women's national soccer teams, the Concacaf Nations League and the Canadian Championship. The CPL professional soccer league is scheduled to debut in 2019.

"The buzz for the creation of the CPL is already significant and our own professional league is filling a void in the Canadian landscape," said Scott Mitchell, CEO of Canadian Soccer Business. "That excitement for soccer in this country will continue to grow as Canada's women's national team continues to excel and begin their journey to the FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019 and as the men's national team prepares for qualification for Qatar in 2022. The expansion of the Canadian Championship as a true coast-to-coast championship, with a Concacaf Champions League berth on the line, makes the media opportunity unique in the marketplace. With the emergence of many new bidders for media rights, we're excited to have partnered with ThePostGame, which is uniquely positioned to be working with these dynamic media companies."
