Choice Hotels conducts summer campaign

Choice Hotels Canada has begun a new awareness campaign developed by Agence Braque of Montreal. The campaign is timed to coincide with summer vacation season and seeks to depict the pleasures of traveling. The creative is intended to present the company's hotels as "warm and welcoming and downright unfussy." An execution focusing on business travel has also been produced. The campaign includes 15-second and six-second online videos in English and French, which are running as pre-roll ads on a number of programmatic advertising networks.

"Creatively, we feel the point-of-view camera approach really helps capture the feeling and excitement of why people travel, whether for business or pleasure, and elicits a sense of connection and emotion," said Donna Tamosaitis, senior manager of advertising and business-to-business marketing at Choice Hotels. "Our hotels offer an inviting place to stay, no matter where life takes them."
