Xplore Mobile begins Manitoba retail promotion

Xplornet Communications of Woodstock, NB has begun a retail promotion in Manitoba supporting the upcoming launch of it mobile service in that province. The effort is intended to introduce the Xplore Mobile brand in advance of its official launch in the fall. It makes use of two temporary retail locations in shopping malls in the cities of Winnipeg and Brandon. The stores offer information about the service and its priorities of "fairness, simplicity and transparency."
"Xplore Mobile reflects the importance of our heritage and the values we share with the community," said Allison Lenehan, president and CEO of Xplornet. "In getting to know our future customers these past few months, we found they shared our desire to bring a sense of fairness to the wireless marketplace in Manitoba."
