Ultramar begins online video campaign

Gas station chain Ultramar has begun a new online campaign called "See You on the Way." The campaign, developed by Lg2 of Montreal, consists of a series of videos in which online personalities YouTwoTV experience situations common to young drivers. The campaign is aimed at consumers in Quebec and Ontario. It includes nine episodes in French and seven in English, accompanied by social media posts. The effort will run on YouTube and Facebook until September.

"This is the kind of challenge we love because it pushes us to think at full speed," said Stuart Macmillan, creative director at Lg2. "To make the brand stand out in its category, we had to find an idea that was both unique and engaging. We wanted to show how Ultramar can have a positive effect on people's day-to-day lives. It was important to centre the videos on people that everyone could relate to one way or another."
