McNeil Consumer Healthcare conducts Smober Up campaign for Nicorette

McNeil Consumer Healthcare has begun an online initiative in support of its Nicorette smoking cessation product line. The campaign, called "Smober Up," seeks to establish a community of consumers who will encourage each other to quit smoking. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences through Facebook and YouTube. The campaign also includes online videos hosted by ultramarathon runner and former smoker Ray Zahab that will follow the attempts of eight Canadian smokers to quit. Consumers can also enter an online contest to win one of sixty Nicorette Quit Kits. "Whether it's reducing the number of cigarettes each day or quitting altogether, making the commitment to being smoke-free is never easy," said Zahab. "I've been there and I know how it feels to want to quit. Taking control of one's health by quitting smoking isn't an easy decision, but a powerful one that can change the way you feel about yourself and life. That's why having the support of the Smober Up community can help smokers find the willpower to achieve their goals. They have an entire community supporting them every step of the way." McNeil Consumer Healthcare is a division of Johnson & Johnson.
