CAA gains naming rights to Powerade Centre

Real estate company Realstar Group has signed a 10-year agreement with the Canadian Automobile Association of South Central Ontario for the naming rights to the Powerade Centre in Brampton, ON. The 5,000-seat arena will be rebranded as the CAA Centre this spring. The venue hosts sports events, concerts and trade shows. It is also the home ice of the ECHL Brampton Beast hockey team. As part of the agreement, CAA members will receive special offers and access to events at the centre. The naming rights to the arena had previously been held by Coca-Cola since 2005.

"Sports and entertainment venues are the epicentre of a community, so it was important for us to find a partner understanding of the fabric of such a diverse and lively city as Brampton," said Jonas Prince, chairman of the Realstar Group. "With CAA we have found a dedicated and collaborative partner interested in building a synergistic relationship with our many stakeholders."
