Molson Coors launches John Molson Walk in Montreal

Molson Coors Canada has introduced an augmented reality initiative in Montreal called the "John Molson Walk." The initiative focuses on the history of the Molson family through seven generations. Consumers can download a free mobile application that will guide them on a walking tour of Old Montreal passing six points of historical interest. The software offers educational text and audio commentary for the route, accompanied by drawings, quotes, photographs and activities. The application is available in English, French, Spanish and Mandarin for Android and Apple devices. The initiative was developed by Montréal en Histoires.

"For our family, the walk is a true honor, a tribute to our involvement over the centuries," said Andrew Molson, member of the Molson Coors board and chair of the Res Publica Consulting Group. "Montrealers will discover how our Montreal story began and learn more about our contributions to the city, which celebrates its 375th anniversary this year."
