Playtex Sport conducts PlayOn Canada promotion

Edgewell Personal Care has released an online video in support of its Playtex Sport brand of tampons. The video depicts Olympic wrestler Erica Wiebe presenting new equipment from the Playtex PlayOn Canada Grant Program to the Toronto-based West Humber Collegiate Institute girls' wrestling team. The video has been posted at <http://www.playtexplayon.ca> and YouTube.  The video is part of a wider social responsibility campaign via which the company is distributing $50,000 in funding to 13 girls' high school sports teams nationally. Until July 15, each time the video is shared by a viewer via social media, Playtex will increase the amount of its grant total by one dollar.

"The Playtex PlayOn Canada Grant Program is about celebrating Canadian girls who play high school sports and giving their teams the resources they need to play to their full potential," said Jill MacKinnon, brand manager at Edgewell Personal Care. "After reviewing more than 215 deserving grant submissions from high schools across Canada, it's clear that there is a real need for increased funding for girls' high school sports teams, and we are proud that the PlayOn Grant Program can help address this issue head on."
