MirraMirra hires Shine PR

Australian company MirraMirra has retained Shine PR of Toronto has its public relations agency of record. The assignment includes PR, social media activities, influencer relations and a launch event on Aug. 25 in Toronto. The Melbourne-based company produces a smartphone case with an integrated illuminated mirror, primarily intended to assist in the application of makeup.
"We came to Shine with a problem," said Mark Ainsworth, co-founder of MirraMirra. "We are an all male team developing a product for a predominantly female consumer base. "We wanted a female eye on the product from the very beginning and it was important that we partnered with an agency who had a strong presence across North America and direct access to our target consumer."
