TD GREEN LINE ADDS NEW SERVICE

The Toronto-Dominion Bank added another feature to its Green Line Investor Services this week. Called MoneyLink, the new service allows Green Line customers to withdraw funds from their brokerage accounts and access full chequing and margin privileges, using any Interac or PLUS bank machine worldwide. Previously investors could only access their brokerage accounts through TD machines. The new service was made possible after the international committee of Interac ruled earlier this month that the network could be used for more than just banking. MoneyLink is being promoted through print ads in national business dailies. The ads, which were created by Gee Jeffery & Partners Inc. of Toronto, began running this week.
