Valkee hires Zenergy Communications

Finnish electronics company Valkee has retained Zenergy Communications of Toronto as its North American agency of record. The assignment includes the development of a media relations campaign for Valkee's HumanCharger product, a light therapy device intended to reduce the effects of seasonal affective disorder and jet lag. According to the company, the device works by shining light through earbuds to "light-sensitive regions of the brain."
"We are excited to work with Zenergy Communications to build brand awareness and drive sales for HumanCharger in North America," said Nick Ieraci, COO for North America at Valkee. "We are confident that their expertise in the development and implementation of launch strategies, coupled with Zenergy's history in the technology and consumer products industry, will be impactful."
