Vision7 Media joins Local Planet

Vision7 Media of Toronto will join a new organization called Local Planet. Launched this week, Local Planet is an international group of independent media planning and buying agencies. Vision7 subsidiaries Cossette Media and Jungle Media will join the group. Other participating agencies include UK-based The7Stars, US-based Horizon Media, Zertem Communication Group of Spain, Media Italia of Italy, Pilot of Germany, CoSpirit MediaTrack of France, Tre Kronor of Sweden and Percept Media of India.
"We are thrilled to be part of a global network that is able to adapt to international client demands and offer an alternative to the traditional, top-down, global model," said Vision7 Media president Joseph Leon. "Local Planet represents a global collective of like-minded, independent, transparent partners who will act as a catalyst for strategic and technological innovation."
