Hill&Knowlton Strategies promotes two, adds five

Hill&Knowlton Strategies has recently hired five new staff members and promoted two others. Tim Moro has joined the agency's Calgary office as a vice-president. He was most recently managing partner for Calgary at Cohn & Wolfe. Prior to that, he was a senior vice-president at Ipsos Reid.

Rahmat Amy Kassam has been hired as a senior consultant in the firm's Ottawa office. She was previously an executive assistant in the offices of two members of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Prior to that, she was a policy advisor to the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs.

Shannon Donnelly has joined the Ottawa office as an assistant consultant. She was previously a consultant at Bluesky Strategy Group.

Michelle Marchione has been promoted to the position of senior account director in Toronto. She joined the agency's health and pharmaceutical practice in 2010 as an account director. Prior to that, she was at UK-based Axon Communications and National Public Relations.

Brent Marson has been promoted to consultant in Toronto. He joined the agency two years ago. Prior to that, he worked at Bell Media and The Hudson's Bay.

Jeanelle Awa has been hired in Toronto as an account director. She has previously worked at Environics, MS&L and Karisma Communications.

Jade Hunter has been hired in Toronto an assistant consultant in the consumer marketing pactice. She most recently worked in media relations and event management at the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
