Louisiana-Pacific hires Hill&Knowlton Strategies

Louisiana-Pacific, a manufacturer and distributor of building materials based in Nashville, TN, has retained Hill&Knowlton Strategies Canada of Toronto as its public relations agency in Canada. The firm will work to raise awareness in this country of the company and its brands, with a focus on CanExel and SmartSide siding products.

"During the competitive RFP process, we were impressed with the thoroughness and big-picture thinking of the H&K team," said Mike Maddern, director of growth and strategy at Louisiana-Pacific Building Products. "We feel that H&K is an ideal extension of our internal team, and we're excited about the work ahead."
