New chief digital officer at Globe and Mail

The Globe and Mail of Toronto has promoted Greg Doufas to the position of chief digital officer. He joined the company in 2012 as director of analytics and audience intelligence and became vice-president of data and audience intelligence in 2013. Prior to that, he was director of advanced analytics and data science at BlackBerry. Doufas was also director of analytics, data mining and database marketing at Rogers Communications.
