L'Oreal Canada launches in-house production studio
Montreal-based cosmetics company L'Oréal Canada has opened a production studio called the Content Factory. It provides professional lighting and video equipment, as well as production assistance, to employees of the company who want to create original online content such as makeup tutorials, product reviews or testimonials. This in-house content is intended to be distributed via social media as a form of consumer engagement.
"The Content Factory is an invaluable tool to achieve our objective of being more agile in social media and creating integrated brand communication to encourage engagement with our brands and drive business here in Canada," said Frank Kollmar, president and CEO of L'Oréal Canada.
