Alberta Securities Commission conducts barbershop promotion

The Alberta Securities Commission conducted a promotion in Calgary last week intended to educate consumers about investment fraud. On Nov. 5, the organization rebranded the Denim and Smith Barbershop in Banker's Hall as the CheckFirst Barbershop. For two hours the commission gave away free haircuts and information about investment fraud, accompanied by a barbershop quartet. The promotion, along with supporting media relations and social media activities, was developed by Brookline Public Relations.
