The Broadcast Executives Society will host a seminar on Nov. 14 in Toronto featuring keynote speaker CanWest Global System president Jim Sward. The seminar is entitled "The Challenge: To Make Canadian Television More Distinctly Canadian. Sward will discuss why a stronger, more distinctly Canadian broadcast system will be essential to our survival. He will also share insights into how competitive private sector resources can be marshalled to meet this challenge.
