New chief marketing officer at Spin Master

Toronto-based toy company Spin Master has appointed Nancy Zwiers to the position of chief marketing officer. She will begin work on Nov. 9. She was previously founder and CEO of consulting firm Funosophy and has been a consultant to Spin Master since 2002. Prior to that, she was senior vice-president of worldwide marketing for the Barbie brand at Mattel. She was also general manager of the company's girls division. Zwiers has also worked at Heinz Pet Products and Procter & Gamble.
