Four Seasons conducts photography contest

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has begun a photography-themed promotion called "Focus on Four Seasons." During the initiative, Four Seasons Magazine will display a series of images taken by professional and amateur photographers at its various international properties. The magazine will also carry advice about how to take better photographs using a digital camera or smartphone. Consumers will be encouraged to share their own pictures on Instagram. Selected images will also be displayed online at <http://www.fourseasons.com/focusgallery>.

The effort also includes a contest component in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Entrants can submit images in four categories via Instagram using a contest hashtag. The company will select six finalists and put them up for public voting. Winners will receive one of three photographic trips to Budapest and Prague, to Hawaii or to California.

"Photography is a compelling way to tell a story, with a single evocative image often saying more than words alone," said Elizabeth Pizzinato, senior vice-president of marketing and communications at Four Seasons. "We love the visual stories our guests tell about Four Seasons through their photography, and with Focus on Four Seasons we want to inspire travellers to keep snapping and keep sharing their memorable experiences at Four Seasons destinations around the globe."
