Corus rebrands Kingston FM station

Corus Radio has rebranded its radio station in Kingston, ON as 96.3 Big FM. The programming format of the station has also been changed to a lineup of classic rock music. The new programming will begin on Aug. 31. The rebranding will be promoted with a marketing campaign incorporating television and out-of-home advertising, as well as a website at <http://www.963bigfm.com> and a new mobile application.
"Home to the biggest hits and real classic rock, we are excited to offer Kingston 96.3 Big FM," said Dave McCutcheon, Corus Radio's general manager of television and radio for Peterborough, Kingston and Oshawa. "We're bringing Kingstonians the music they've been asking for as it will provide listeners with a positive alternative to existing rock radio, family friendly local content playing familiar music that appeals to all ages."
