Quebecor sponsors emerging music festival

Quebecor has signed-on as a sponsor of the 13th annual Festival de musique émergente. The festival of emerging music will take place in Abitibi-Témiscamingue from Sept. 3 to 6. The agreement includes a promotional campaign that will run on various Quebecor media properties. The company will also be the presenting sponsor of 15 free shows called the "5 à 7 Quebecor" series. This will be the eighth year Quebecor has sponsored this event.
"Every year, the festival showcases the next generation of creative artists, bringing us a selection of brilliantly talented performers who tread new and unique musical ground," said Pierre Dion, president and CEO of Quebecor. "Our commitment to the FME is another example of our passion for culture in all its forms. In particular, we make it a point of honour to support our emerging Quebec musical artists."
