New COO at Destiny Media Technologies

Destiny Media Technologies of Vancouver has promoted Dale Borland to the newly-created position of chief operating officer. He will oversee planning, personnel, sales, marketing and product strategy for the company. Borland is currently vice-president and COO of the company's Clipstream division. Prior to joining Destiny Media in 2014, Borland was the chief operating officer at Wantsa Media Canada. Before that, he was president and CEO of Marqui. He has also been chief revenue and marketing officer of Colligo Networks and technical director at Bytech. Borland also held a series of positions at Microsoft, including director of its consumer division. Destiny Media Technologies specializes in the display and distribution of online video.
