Destiny Media Technologies begins Clipstream campaign

Vancouver-based Destiny Media Technologies has begun a North American marketing campaign for its Clipstream online streaming video system. The campaign makes use of two streaming video ads describing the features of the service and making use of the technology themselves. The ads will play in the Clipstream format on the front pages of a number of industry websites that cover web development and streaming media. The company later plans to expand the campaign to reach the market research, advertising and web hosting sectors, as well as international markets.

The initial phase of the campaign is aiming for approximately 750,000 impressions on sites including Webdeveloper.com, Developer.com, Devx.com, Codeguru.com, Htmlgoodies.com and Flashkit.com. The creative makes use of the tagline, "Drag, drop, done," and focuses on the cross-platform and player-less nature of the product.

"Our initial targets are broad-based content providers, including advertising agencies, marketing professionals and web developers," said Steve Vestergaard, CEO of Destiny Media Technologies. "The technology works well and there is a clear value proposition for our customers to get a much simpler solution, which costs less and provides much higher value. We are excited to begin exposing our proprietary and disruptive technology to a much wider audience."
