New chair at Canada Post

Canada Post has appointed Siân Matthews to the position of chairperson of its board of directors for a four-year term. She has been interim chair since October 2014. Matthews joined the Canada Post board in 2007. She has also been chair of the corporate social responsibility and environmental risks committee and chair of the strategic initiative oversight committee. A lawyer with an independent practice, Matthews was also an editor of the Estate Trust and Pensions Journal and a faculty of law instructor at the University of Calgary.
