New chairman at Mood Media

Toronto-based Mood Media has appointed Kevin Dalton to the position of non-executive chairman of the board. He will take up the position on Jan. 1. Dalton was previously a member of the board. Philippe von Stauffenberg will leave the position of executive chairman, but will continue to be a member of the board. Until his retirement in 2010, Dalton was vice-chairman and head of investment banking at Desjardins Securities. Prior to that, he was president of Blackmont Capital. He has also worked at CIBC World Markets.
