GCI Group adds one, promotes two

GCI Group of Toronto has appointed Sharon Fernandes to the position of digital and talent planning director. She was previously manager of marketing communications and social media at Kobo. She was also manager of corporate communications and social media at Rogers Media, manager of the social media practice at the Social Media Group and a digital and technology consultant at Hill & Knowlton
Anya Kravets has been promoted to the position of digital health group manager. Prior to joining GCI a year ago, she was an account manager at Edelman and a public relations specialist at Johnson & Johnson.
Laura Maize has been promoted to the position of digital consultant. Before joining the agency in 2012, she was a copy editor at Sweet Paul Magazine, an assistant editor at Vive Magazine, and a freelance writer and copy editor.
