Tim Hortons begins Bring It Back promotion

As part of its 50th anniversary promotions, Tim Hortons has begun an online campaign called "Bring It Back." During the initiative, consumers can vote for a discontinued menu item from the past 50 years to be returned to sale for a limited time. Once per week for five weeks, the company will announce one of the eligible items online at TimsBringitBack.ca and the brand's Facebook page. From May 1 to 14, consumers will be able to vote for which of the five items should go back on the menu later this year. The first item to be revealed is the eclair, which was first introduced in the 1960s.

"For 50 years Tim Hortons has been updating its menu to suit the evolving tastes and preferences of our guests, and with that, some menu items have come and gone, yet we continue to receive requests to bring back beloved menu items," said Glenn Hollis, vice-president of marketing at Tim Hortons. "Bring It Back is our way of saying thank you to our loyal guests for the past five decades. We hope it sparks fond memories for Canadians and Tim Hortons employees from coast to coast."
