CANADIAN NAMED OFFICER FOR APMA

The Gaylord Group president Kevin Astle has been elected as an officer of the Association of Promotion Marketing Agencies Worldwide of Stamford, Connecticut. The association announced its new team of five officers this week at its autumn 1996 conference in Chicago. APMA Worldwide is a 33- year-old international association of promotional agencies dedicated to improving the awareness of promotional marketing and to promote high ethical standards within the industry. This represents the first time that the board will be comprised almost exclusively of members from outside the United States. Minneapolis-based McCracken Brooks chairman and CEO Keith McCracken was voted in as president for the 1996-1998 term.
