Canadian Public Relations Society launches Expert Centre

The Toronto-based Canadian Public Relations Society has launched an online resource intended to make PR professionals available to reporters, event organizers and corporate organizations. The service, which is being operated in associate with ExpertFile, includes profiles of members of the society's College of Fellows who can speak or comment on a range of industry topics or current events. Profiles can also be searched by industry experience and multimedia assets. Additional profiles will be added through the year.
"Public relations experts make a positive contribution to the profession, our employers and to the communities we serve," said Karen Dalton, executive director of the Canadian Public Relations Society. "Our Expert Centre will enable the CPRS to better connect these professionals to a range of audiences to more effectively advocate for the profession and our professional APR designation. ExpertFile is a very robust platform for organizations looking to better promote their thought leaders."
