HootSuite buys UberVu

Vancouver-based social media company HootSuite has acquired UberVu of Cambridge, MA, a company specializing in social media analytics. HootSuite's service allows businesses and organizations to execute campaigns across social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+. The company will add UberVu's capabilities to its own. UberVu's clients include 3M, NBC, Heinz, Fujitsu, SC Johnson, Getty Images, Indiegogo and L'Occitane.
