GT GLOBAL LAUNCHES NEW MUTUAL FUND FAMILY

Toronto-based GT Global Fund Inc. introduced a new line of mutual funds this week known as the Global Theme Class. The funds initially will be divided into seven themes. They will invest on average in 35 to 70 global equities, in any or all of the following categories: health care, infrastructure, natural resources, telecommunications, technology, financial services and consumer products. TV, radio and print ads support the launch of the funds. An insert will also appear in The Globe and Mail, Financial Post and Les Affaires next week. The campaign was created in-house, while the television media buy was done by Media Services Group of Toronto.
