FUJI LAUNCHES SPATE OF NEW PRODUCTS
By Adnews Staff
Fuji Photo Film Canada Inc. has added products to its Fotonex line of products. The company launched three new cameras this week which will join the Mississauga, Ont.-based company's line of Fotonex cameras, as well as new film to accompany the cameras. Also, Fuji will release a new Quicksnap single-use camera that will be 100% recyclable, including its packaging in December. The flagship of the new Fotonex line is the 400ix Zoom, which features a CPU-linked intelligent flash system and special modes for getting better results in given situations. It is small and compact and features a hidden side panel of switches. The other two cameras are the Fotonex 200ix Zoom and the beginner-level Fotonex 50. The new film, the Fujicolor Nexia Daylight 100, joins three other types that are designed to compliment the new cameras. The Daylight 100 is aimed at those taking outdoor snapshots, landscapes and indoor shots with flash. A print ad for the entire system is currently running in Photo Life magazine and will appear in the Christmas Wish Book, which appeals to the high-end amateur photographer, later this year. The campaign was handled by Doner Schur Peppler of Toronto.
