CinemaNow to hold Star Trek event in Toronto

CinemaNow, a company that allows consumers to view movies and television shows via Internet-connected devices, will conduct a street promotion in Toronto today. The promotion will take the form of a free outdoor screening of the film Star Trek Into Darkness at Yonge-Dundas Square. The company will use the event to promote its range of services, including a new option for customers to transfer eligible DVD movies to digital formats. The promotion will also include a costume contest and hourly giveaways of Star Trek collectibles and other prizes. CinemaNow is a subsidiary of Best Buy.
