Krispy Kreme conducts donut film contest

Donut chain Krispy Kreme has begun a short film competition tied to the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival. Consumers can enter online at <http://www.krispykremefilmfestival.ca> until Aug. 31. Submitted films must be in some way related to donuts. Ten finalists will be announced on Sept. 3. The winner will be selected by a judging panel at an event at The Royal Cinema in Toronto on Sept. 12. The winner will receive free donuts for a year, $500 and an Oscar-style trophy. The contest is being operated by Krispy K Canada, which is the licensed franchisee of Krispy Kreme in Canada.
