Krispy Kreme Canada conducts 15th anniversary promotion

Toronto-based doughnut chain Krispy Kreme Canada has begun a contest promotion to mark the 15th anniversary of the brand's launch in Canada. Consumers can enter by submitting their memories of Krispy Kreme arriving in Canada via Instagram or Twitter. Five winners will receive prize packages consisting of a gift card for 10 dozen doughnuts and a collection of branded merchandise. In addition, on Dec. 11, consumers who visit the chain's first Canadian location in Mississauga will receive a free doughnut when an in-store red light is illuminated.
"We're thrilled to be celebrating 15 years in Canada," said Chris Lindsey, CEO of Krispy Kreme Canada. "I have such fond, distinct memories of when we opened up in Mississauga, and the more customers I speak with, the more I realize everyone has their own memory of that time, the first time Canadians were able to enjoy our famed doughnuts on home ground. We're eager to revisit that enthusiasm on Dec. 11 and welcome everyone to join us in the celebration."
