Tapped Mobile opens in Toronto

A new mobile advertising services company called Tapped Mobile has officially launched in Toronto. The company offers store-level mobile location data, video ad units with social sharing, in-stream video ad units, location-based retargeting, mobile research and traditional display and video advertising via a collection of publishers and advertising networks. The company was founded by Jed Schneiderman, Eric Shedletsky and Mark Shedletsky. Schneiderman has previously worked at Microsoft, CTV, AOL and Procter & Gamble. Eric Shedletsky was previously a co-founder of BlueHaze. Mark Shedletsky has previously worked at XIX Entertainment, Canwest and CTV. "We scour the world for the best mobile ad technologies," said Schneiderman, president of Tapped Mobile.
