Hill&Knowlton Strategies promotes one, hires one

Hill&Knowlton Strategies Canada of Toronto has promoted Kristy Derkson to vice-president and group leader of its health practice. She joined the firm in 2006 as a senior account director and deputy group leader. Prior to that, she was an account supervisor at Ketchum Public Relations Canada and a senior consultant at DBA Communications. David Airdrie has joined the agency's Toronto health practice as vice-president. He was previously healthcare vice-president at Veritas Communications. He has also worked at Integrated Healthcare Communications, Teva Neuroscience and The Medicine Group.
