Michael Hill International hires Media Experts

New Zealand-based jewelry company Michael Hill International has retained Media Experts of Toronto as its Canadian media agency. The firm won the account in a three-month competitive pitch process that also included incumbent MacLaren M2Universal and two other Canadian agencies. Media Experts will take over the account on July 1. "We look forward to developing a new long-term partnership with Media Experts during what will be a significant phase of development for the Michael Hill business over the next decade," said Sue Szylvester, group marketing executive at Michael Hill International. "We were impressed with Media Experts' digital strength, their refreshing approach to engaging consumers and their considerable track record in the retail category. We felt great chemistry between us during the review process and we look forward to working together to grow our business in Canada."
