Deezer Canada hires Strategic Objectives

Streaming music service Deezer Canada has retained Strategic Objectives of Toronto as its public relations agency of record. The assignment includes PR, social media activities, blogger awareness programs, sponsorships and consumer engagement initiatives. These efforts will be aimed primarily at music, consumer technology and entertainment audiences. The agency is now working to support Deezer Canada's position as the official streaming sponsor of the North by Northeast 2013 music festival, which will take place in Toronto next week. "We knew that the firm was the perfect choice to grow Deezer in Canada through dynamic PR, social media, as well as influencer and consumer engagement programs.
