Venture Communications launches content marketing practice

Venture Communications of Toronto has launched a new content marketing unit. The unit will be headed by editorial director William Morassutti. He has previously been an editor at Doubleday Canada, creative director at Star Content Studios and editor-in-chief of Toro magazine. Ali Kamran, previously of Salt Technologies, has joined the unit at art director. Hassan Rai has been hired as user experience architect. "Our current and prospective clients are now realizing the critical importance of content," said agency president Jen Lightbody. "A carefully crafted content marketing strategy is integral to every marketing initiative. Now more than ever, clients are coming to us to figure out the how and why. With the launch of a multidisciplinary content marketing practice, we are well-positioned to deliver timely, innovative, forward-looking solutions."
