METRO-RICHELIEU INTRODUCES NEW TV CAMPAIGN

Montreal-based supermarket chain Metro-Richelieu launched a TV campaign in Quebec this week. The 60-second spot is a corporate image ad that is in both English and French. The 30-second ad focuses on the quality of meat consumers can get at Metro-Richelieu outlets. These ads feature Quebec comedian Marcel Leboeuf. Both commercials use the slogan, Profession: Epicier. The ads were created by Publicis*BCP of Montreal. Doin, Alexandre & Associés of Montreal is doing PR. Metro-Richelieu operates over 1,000 grocery stores in Quebec under various banners.
