UPLAND LAUNCHES SMOKING PREVENTION PRODUCT
By Adnews Staff
Calgary-based Upland Global Corporation introduced The Smoker's Freedom System to the North American market this week. The product is a seven-day stop smoking program currently available through The Magic Marketing Network Inc. of Minneapolis. Magic Marketing is a North American network marketing company with thousands of distributors worldwide. The system consists of three stages, each of which involves the use of products containing natural herbal formulas. Initially, smokers use NicEase capsules to reduce the need for nicotine, then move on to NicCaps to remove and eliminate nicotine from the body. Finally, an aroma therapy enhancer, designed to reduce the desire for a cigarette, is used in the third phase. A radio campaign is currently running in Los Angeles, central Florida and Minneapolis in support of the product, with Canadian radio spots set to start Oct. 10. They will be heard in Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver and will run for six weeks. The ads were created in-house by Upland, while Alpha Omega Network of Orlando, Florida bought all media.
