Ubisoft Canada begins Just Dance promotion

Video game company Ubisoft Canada has begun a new promotion in support of its game Just Dance 4. The national initiative, aimed at university students, will culminate with an attempt on April 6 to set a world record for simultaneous dancing. Until March 18, students can apply at CampusPerks.ca to be one of eight local organizers for the record attempt. On March 18, Ubisoft will launch the a "Just Dance" website which will encourage students to share photographs and videos in advance of the event. The company will also promote the event through its Facebook and Twitter channels. "The ultimate goal is to give students a break from the stressful weeks leading up to exams and to use Just Dance 4 as a positive way to connect them and their friends as well as campuses across the country," said Lucile Bousquet, communication and marketing director at Ubisoft. "Going after a world record will just make it that much more fun." The promotion was developed by Edelman and Redwood Strategic.
