GALLOP JOINS FORCES WITH ICON

Media barter company ICON Canada and Gallop & Gallop Advertising of Toronto have teamed up to try to get more clients using outdoor advertising. Under the deal, Gallop is offering ICON clients ad space on its billboards on a part cash/part-barter basis. For example, if a company wants to do $200,000 in advertising, it can pay 50% cash and 50% in outdated inventory. ICON then re-sells the inventory. ICON is an independent corporate barter company with seven offices in Canada. It is the Canadian subsidiary of U.S.-based ICON International.
