Insurance Corporation of BC begins car theft awareness campaign

The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia has begun an awareness campaign in that province intended to deter car thieves. The campaign, called “Bait Car,” makes use of out-of-home displays from Gallop & Gallop Advertising of Toronto. The creative reminds thieves of the likelihood of getting caught, while communicating to consumers that the company is taking measures to protect vehicle owners. The street-level ads are positioned to reach drivers. The campaign began this month and will run until November.
