Hill&Knowlton Strategies introduces Flight School

Hill&Knowlton Strategies of Calgary has introduced a new "crisis simulation tool" called Flight School. The training service includes advice from experts as well as digital crisis exercises. The simulation includes monitoring of and interaction with news media, blogs and social media websites. "Flight School gives our clients an authentic, real-time crisis experience they won't find anywhere else," said Jane Shapiro, the agency's national service leader for corporate and crisis communications. "The key to Flight School is realism. Digital communications and social media play a key role in any crisis management and response. Flight School allows participants to interact with these elements, monitoring and utilizing social media to manage a simulated crisis situation."
