Weight Watchers breaks fall campaign

Weight loss company Weight Watchers Canada will break a fall advertising campaign today. The television creative features musician and television personality Jessica Simpson describing her own experiences with the company's products and services. A second commercial featuring musician and actress Jennifer Hudson will also be released this month. The campaign was developed by McCann Erickson. "Weight Watchers is a personal experience and if you look at our ambassadors, you'll notice they each reflect a relatable point in that experience," said Cheryl Callan, senior vice-president of Weight Watchers. "Jennifer is the ultimate success story, someone who has already achieved her goal on the program, and Jessica is at the beginning, dedicated to being successful and inspiring millions, just as Jennifer has."
